#ThrowBackThursday: Oldham Pathology Laboratory

Today we look back on Oldham Pathology Laboratory, A state-of-the-art 3 storey New Build Pathology Laboratory completed on behalf of The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.

This £18.5m scheme involved the complete Remodelling of the existing 2 storey building that totals 5000 SQM creating one of the largest most advanced Central Service Laboratories in the country.

The development combined the main laboratory services from across the Pennine and North Manchester area and comprises the disciplines, Haematology, Bio Chemistry, Microbiology, Histopathology and Cytology.
